The Political Office-Bearers Pension Fund is committed to protecting the personal information of all its members in accordance with POPIA.
Our Commitment
The Political Office-Bearers Pension Fund processes personal information of members in order to administer the Fund and provide member benefits. We are committed to protecting this information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
What Information We Collect
- Personal details (name, ID number, date of birth)
- Contact information (address, phone number, email)
- Employment and contribution information
- Beneficiary information
- Banking details for benefit payments
How We Use Your Information
Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of administering your retirement fund benefits. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except where required to administer your benefits (e.g. the Fund administrator, actuary, auditors).

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information where applicable
